Quite a while back I got a 10% off deal on a Ingersoll Rand 600 Ft lb impact from Lowe's. Knocks lug nuts loose in a sec.

I also got a 19V Dewalt elec impact from Atwoods in Joplin for cheap. I got the 19V because that battery matches all the other coardless Dewalt stuff I have.

I bought a DeWalt pneumatic 3/8 impact about a year ago to use for side jobs. I didn't even know DeWalt made air impacts until I found it on Amazon. I've still been using it now that I'm back to wrenching for a living and it's holding up. Nice power and very low price. I'd definitely recommend them for home use.

Evening All!

I thought I was going to do some mud and paint today, but the fender popped out and looked pretty darn good with some light dolly work, so they opted out of painting it and making it perfect. Not as much money, but fast money is always a good thing.

I spent the rest of the day lugging stuff over to the new shop and doing a little decorating. The new shop even LOOKS like a hotrod shop, now!

Looks great Alan! You guys would be amazed what DeWalt/Stanley/Black and Decker makes. We rep the entire line and I'm learning daily of new stuff. DeWalt has a line of hand tools that look pretty good and are priced cheap, not harbor fright cheap, but a mid grade tool.

I really like Stanley's Proto tools. Tool truck quality with a lesser price.

The same can be said for Snap On's JH Williams USA line but I don't own any of those.

Alan that wild hair project (chebby or not) looks like a cool one. Makes me want to start on the F250 frame with the race car tube chassis on top of it....along with the little 460, 8" lift and 44's to balance it out.

Parts anyone? http://springfield.craigslist.org/pts/5942947126.html

Morning gentlemen!

My son's flight was canceled twice last night due to fog in Missouri...then Fayetteville, Arkansas.... Now flying into Joplin at noon today. So he stayed all night in the Dallas airport. He AND I are not too happy...but nothing we can do...

Hope that this year sees Bandit running good in new paint.

Yes RC has the air tools!!! Makes everything so much faster. I will be getting more of them myself. I have enjoyed working with RC ..especially learning which tools make up huge amounts of time. Wire wheel on a bench grinder is flat out awesome for Rusty bolts etc!!! Just one example mind you..

I've been selling the heck out of Stanley Proto. Their cattledog is in the porcelain library here at work and the guest library at home.

Before any of you go out and buy Milwaukee 28Volt tools, look at their 18Volt line, they're not telling us distributors they're obsoleting the 28Volt, but it is missing in the cattledogs and they tell us they're making great strides in the 18Volt power and battery life.
