Crazy, isn't it? After the dump, they figured having the kids stay home instead of sending them home later in an even worse storm. For once, they used common sense!

Growing up in California, I remember in the 4th grade, we were kept home because it was raining so much, it was threatening to flood our school so there was no school for two days.
