Hello - Motor Swap?? 1995 F350 460 > 1995 F700 429

Hi. Long time ford guy, and first gen gm s10-s15 trucks too.

This would be stretching my skills, but i would love to hear about people's experience putting a 460 into the f700. I have a donor truck that's been waiting for this. I want to think this should bolt right in.

Welcome to FTE.

While they are the "same" engine, they are not. Crank snout and accessory drives are different. I think the mounting is different. Clutch/flywheel etc is different. Crank pilot may be different enough to cause an issue.

It can be done, but you will be chasing some details.
