At first I couldn't stand Dodge looks either. But now I kinda like their heavy duties. (I like Super Dutys more of course.)

 

Oh and by the way, why does the administrator have a monster on his pic? just wondering. (I hope I can ask this.... after all, this is a 2004 F-150 topic.)

i think the new f150's look great, thinkinh about tradin mine in for one. the new dodge has more of a bubble look, fron't end just looks to big, kinda like its been RAMmed into something. i would choose the new chvy over the new dodge for some reason i have never liked the dodge trucks, except for the old 80's ram charger. we use to have one. it was a beast.

 

i see no direct correlation between the front end looks of a half ton dodge and the f150. I rate the dodge as the ugliest of all trucks (a distant loser to chevy), and the new ford as a really sharp looking truck. The curved headlight assemblies on the 04 ford, and the the overall stance of the front end look great to me.

 

I like it. No one else in my all Ford family does though. After showing them this forum they agree that it is way to similar to the dodge. I like it

Man, talk about apples and oranges. I don't see any resemblance between the F150 and the Sdodge! I have always hated the looks of the Dodge front end, and now find the new ones even uglier!
I like the front of the new F150, but the sides and back are going to have to grow on me. They look boxy and square. The interior though is great.

Ford has a winner in the new F150 for sure.

 

I have heard many people say that it is a Dodge because of how the grill is fixed to the hood. It does have a bit of a Dodge look to me, but it goes away when you put them side by side, the Dodge looks big, clumsy and goofy to me. When I first saw it I asked my uncle who retired from Dodge a few years ago why they would go and make something so Ugly, he didn't have much to say. He keeps trying to get me into a Dodge or back into a Jeep, and didn't like it when I told him that the 94 Cherokee I had was my least favorite of all the vehicles I've had, but that's off the subject. Anyways, the new F-150 is by far the best looking pickup ever IMO.

 

check out the door and cab lines on the new dogs. i think they look alot like the 03 f-150's, the way the doors curve around the back of the cabs is really close. i have only one thing to say about the new 150's, ick! sorry if i offended any owners

 

I definitely see a similarity: The wheels on both are round and are held on with nuts.
If it weren't for the badges I couldn't tell one from the other.
