Pending purchase/Wondering

Will an l6/300 fit under the hood of a '65 Ranchero?
I'm looking at one on Craigslist and already have the motor.
Something in the back of my mind is thinking it might be too big.
If you're laughing, you're welcome. I'd still appreciate an answer.

it is a BIG engine, but can be squeezed in. if i remember correctly we had to use a modified air filter and oil pan on the 300 we stuffed in a 66 mustang around 25 years ago.
ran like a raped ape until he wrapped it around a tree.
to be honest though i would look for a 200 or 250 to build.] before i ever put a 240 or 300 in one again.
