Beat the EB Up Today...
Nope, didn't run her hard. Just the opposite actually. Other than a quick 5-mile squirt on the highway today, this is all city stop and go. And Stop. And Go. And more Stopping. The traffic was epic...
I tell you what, the truck was awesome. I feel great after all of that sitting and she didn't miss a beat. There are times that I wished I got the 6.5' bed, but today the shorter wheelbase was all the difference for full-contact parking.
The Ford driving logic sure goes into "Prius" mode quickly. I got into the habit of putting it into Sport mode anytime I wanted to go over 30mph just so I would't have to argue with throttle. The logic is fine going from red light to red light, but as soon as you want to actually GO the truck acts like it's asleep.

I'm guessing people were griping about gallons used not matching what the gas pump sold them.

Glad to hear Ford changed from gallons used to DTE. I find DTE way more useful. Ford probably did make the change because it didn't match the fuel pump at the gas station. Just another example of how the system is too inaccurate to reliably measure MPGs.
