ENGINE BLOCK HEATER

I recently installed a 1500 watt block heater along with a 250 watt tranny heating pad.

I plug these in via a timer and set them on for two to four hours.

The engine block heater is much better than the OEM 1000 watt unit.

The block heater is made in the USA from Phillips - Temro purchased through Drive Train America.

The threads in the block are 3/4" NPT.

I think I paid DTA $5?.00 with free shipping.

If anyone is interested I can find my sales slip and post the part numbers for both units above.

The biggest hassle was draining the coolant plus there was some residual coolant at the block heater plug.

just make sure you are using a good 14ga power cord since it will draw 50% more current than the stock heater
