Help! wiper knurl posts stripped 1950 f1
Dear wiper experts: After buying the truck earlier in the year, I now know why the wipers won't move. The piece "barrel" that the wiper is attached to is stripped out. It's die cast or aluminum. The small metal knurl on the post appears OK. The barrel is held on with a type of screw. Can I replace both of these "barrels" ? I've kind of searched but have not seen something just like these. Thanks for your help!!

I thought only the electric wipers used those crappy things. There's an easy solution if you can find them, ANCO makes a set of arms for Jeep CJ's and sometimes the knurl adapters are included with them, that will repair your pivot. See here:

I should say, "sort of" pricey. Dennis C. had two NOS knurls, and wanted $50 each for them....
