Well the transmission shop tried to press it out after trying to punch it out. The aluminum cover cracked where one of the securing points are for the rail. Never budged either. Now I need to find a top cover.

I found a complete M50D top cover at a pick 'n' pull junkyard once. It was in good condition with the forks installed. Charged me $20.
