My 48 F1 is still 6v, and I'm keeping it that way. For the type of driving I do with the truck, no need to change a thing. A/C? 45 MPH with both wing windows and cowl vent open.
Agreed! But then I don't live in Texas or the south east! Nor is mine my daily driver.
My truck has been six volt since 1949. I turn the key, push the button, and it starts. I've now driven it thousands of miles. It ain't really broken......so I'm not gonna fix it.
