I'm curious if anyone is using roof racks on the aluminum body.
If so any ill effects?
I just ordered an new Super Duty and plan to carry kayaks on my Thule roof racks. I asked the question in the SD forum but didn't find anyone that had done it yet.

We are planning on putting our kayaks on a TracRac. TracRac

 

Looks good but it won't work for me. I tow a 5th wheel.

 

I powder coated mine, not super duty. I could walk on it carefully.
Notice all the gussets with self tapping screws.

 

Thanks guys. I worded my post poorly. I'm looking for information on ROOF racks. I guess I shouldn't have put aluminum body in the question. I was worried about roof racks denting the aluminum roof.
