Change oil light

First off I did read the owners manual, I did search the web including this site. I don't seem to have the option to turn off my change oil light on my 2015 F150. The dealer did the first change and I did the second. I bought the truck new in March 2016. The truck only has 9k on it now. The owners manual and most online advice says to go to "settings" then "vehicle" and it should be there, but it is not. Using the dash monitor and buttons on the steering wheel I have gone through every menu option and there is no "oil maintenance" option! I did find someone on here that said his daughters Fusion needed a computer upgrade to allow it to be reset, but shouldn't the dealer have done that when they did the first oil change? This is driving me nuts, every time I start the truck it comes up.

Never mind, finally found a video that had the same set up as mine. It is under "display mode" real intuitive, anyway I got it reset!!! Who ever thought the hardest part of an oil change would be resetting some stupid computer. I guess I'm just getting old.

Thanks for finding that, I'm sure there are others in the same boat and this will help them.

Also, just be thankful that was the most difficult part. at least you had no major troubles on the other end of the process!

Have a good week.

I think the logic on the info screens that I had on my 2011 F350 was more logical than my 2016 F150 Lariat.
