Dome Lights

First of all, happy holidays and a merry christmas to come to everyone.
second, i am having issues with my pickup here. I have a 2012 F-250 gaser, everything works great but the dome lights.
I can open door and all clearance lights work great, but no dome light. play with dimmer switch, no dome light either. but i can go up and click the curtosy lights. they work.
I was thinking BCM or maybe the dimmer switch??

any idea? i also have a 2012 f550 6.7 doing the same thing.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Oh forgot to add i did in fact check all fuses.

Some vehicles have an off switch to kill the dome lights when opening the door you might want to check for this option. If you checked all the fuses check the door switch itself and see if its actually functioning. If not try some WD 40 on it then open and close the switch to work it in.

If the door switch was not working the clearance lights would not come on when i open the door though. It runs all those functions at one time.

On my truck the dome light and the courtesy light are two different units. They are all housed together, but separate bulbs in separate parts of the housing (hope that makes sense).
