Where to buy 6V Battery?

I just bought a 1952 F2 truck that still has the original 239 V8 and running 6 volt. The battery is missing and so I need to buy one. I'm in las Vegas and so which chain or store or online place can I get a battery from and which model battery do I need?
Thanks.

Any of the chain autoparts stores should have one. I think your options are pretty limited though to a couple different sizes?

I'd go to a tractor or farm and fleet supply store. Maybe do a little prior research on group sizes. Basically want the biggest, heaviest, highest CCA battery that will physically fit in the tray. If the cables are undersized look at replacing those too. 1/0 gauge are what you to see. Regular battery cables will not work.

I bought the Optima battery on Amazon. At that time I got it with free shipping.

Surprisingly, that price is still the same. Other batteries have jumped in price recently.
The first one I got somehow got completely drained so it couldn't be charged. They shipped a new one out immediately and didn't want the old one back. I was then able to use the parallel battery method to revive the bad one.

I use the Optima, after years of using other brands and found they are the best and last 5 years

Try your local Batteries Plus. I shopped around for a battery for my granddaughter's Little Tikes train and they had the best price. They beat the tractor supply houses by a lot. They sell Duracell products. And yes, they sell car batteries.

Later!

You'll be glad you got the Optima. I had gone through 2 or 3 batteries from Farm Supply stores to NAPA. Usually got a couple years out of them. The Optima turns the engine over faster than any of the others I had and doesn't run down.
