Super duty 2008 airbag light code 12

Hello ... I am new to this forum, so please be patient with me. I have a 2008 f350 diesel. My airbag light flashes a 1 then 2 code a bunch of times and then stays on solid. The real strange thing is, it only does this when it is cold weather (about 15° F and lower). In warmer weather, I get no flashing and everything seems great! Any ideas?? Thanks for any help!

Solved?

Theloafer, you ever get this sorted? I'm having exact same issue on my 08 250; 1 flash, then 2, then solid on (although mine doesn't seem to be temp sensitive).

Airbag code 12 usually means low voltage, a.k.a a blown fuse.

Solved?

Has anyone gotten this solved? I understand this code results from a low voltage on a certain pin on the computer Anyone know what pin and wire color this might be? I'd like to start checking voltages.

08' F350 Also have the same exact airbag code. Although intermittent, but its usually on. Waited for two weeks for it to shut off. Finally did, and I hurried to get an inspection sticker.

Tried to figure it out with my basic scanner, no luck. Had an appointment with a reliable ford guy this past monday to figure it out but some stuff came up and I canceled. Ill be sure to post what he finds, when i eventually make it out there.

I had airbag problems on my 2008 f150. I checked everything on it. Changed the crash sensor, checked all the wire connections. Traced all the wires to make sure a mouse didnt chew through.
Finally i figured to try swapping out the gauge cluster...and that ended the airbag problems.
I had other problems too...seatbelt chiming and fuel gauge not reading accurate. I found the exact cluster on ebay.

I know this is a little late for this forum but does anyone know the lamp flash codes or air bag codes for the 08 f250's? My truck is flashing an airbag 42 code and would like to figure out what exactly it is referring to.
