Radio Display Light

I just bought a 2010 SD for my new hunting truck and the radio light doesnt work. Is there a setting on the radio to shut off the light? i don't have a manual and the menu button is of course dark? the radio works but you can't see any time of channel, and the dimmer of the interior lights doesnt change a thing. any ideas?

Hey Brad Brown,

I'm happy to help! Which SYNC system do you have: owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/all/get-started-with-sync/how-to-identify-your-sync-version.html?model

I have no idea, but when the display went out on my 1990 last year it was a blown bulb. I didn't know until I took it out and opened it up. Sorry I can't be more help.

Do you have interior lights when you open the door?

You can download a manual here to view the fuse locations. If might be a fuse problem.

Yes, the interior lights work, it must be a toasted radio! Thanks.
