confused

HELLO EVERYONE, MY SON AND I ARE RESTORING A 66 F100 SWB 4WD ,THIS IS MY FIRST FORD REBUILD AND EXCUSE ME FOR BEING REALLY LOST, AND I MEAN LOST LOL.MY QUESTION IS WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE 2WD AND 4WD FRONT CAB SUPPORTS, ONE PLACE TELLS ME NO DIFFERENT AND 5 OTHERS SAY THAT THEY ONLY HAVE 2WD. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone knows where I could find the 4wd 2 piece cab supports. Thanks for your help

Sorry about the caps couldn't get them to turn off and I wasn't meaning to yell. It does shine some light on this and does anyone know where I could find a set of the mounts at

firstfordrestore: There are only two different types of front cab mounts, and they are easy to tell apart.

The early cabs (61-64), and the 65-66 heavy trucks (F350 & larger) with the stepwells use these
*also '65 4x4 cabs, and '66 F250 4x4 (and if I has mispoken, Number Dummy will be along to show me the error of my ways



The 65-66 twin I beam cabs, and the 66 F100 4x4 use these mounts

Thanks numberdummy that good information, I have read some options on the HD truck do you know of any or is this just a plain Ole special order
