I went ahead and picked up a few of the fuel filter kits and oil filters from dieselfiltersonline. Does anyone have a good source other than ford($89.00) for the air filters yet? I know i read somewhere on here the part #1902 listed in the owners manual is incorrect, and googling the FA-1927 part number which i believe to be correct i get no results.

Also do any folks put Fumoto valves on these?

I have a Fumoto on the bench in the garage. Just waiting for the first oil change to install. Rodney turned me onto those. I just hope it doesn't take a half hour to drain the oil out.

ive had a fumoto on my last 3 cummins, as long as the oil is warm when you drain it it doesnt take more than a few minutes, i have had great luck with them. I have not been under a ford 6.7 yet so i was unsure if they worked or not. Where do you guys buy yours?

I ordered and installed a similar one that somebody suggested on the forum (maybe Epic?). Anyways, below are the links for those who might be interested.

Yes, I like the EZ drain better than the Fumoto and have on on my shelf waiting. I bought the 90 degree nipple as opposed to the straight though...

Horizontal just like it's always been. That's what makes that first change so entertaining. 13 quarts of hot goodness shooting straight back with considerable force...LOL...

It's been metal since 2012. The plastic ones in 2011 didn't accommodate the quick change valves due to their quarter turn plug design...

I have done drill down searches on a few diff websites including amazon and the FA-1902 keeps coming up, which my understanding this is for the 11-16 powerstroke, the new trucks have a cylindrical style? apparently the owners manual is incorrect?

I haven't had to order one for a 17 yet but yes they are indeed different. I'm sure by the time most folks need a replacement, they will be available from resellers but for now it might be a dealer only thing.
