5.0 aluminum radiator which hoses

I recently purchased an aluminum radiator with the port's swapped for the 5.0 swap. So I went to the local part's house and purchased hoses for a 5.0 mustang cause that seems to be what all the bronco sites sell. They don't fit because they are for the mustang and the mustang must have a wider radiator, basically they would work if I cut 3 inches out of the middle and shortened them up. Has anyone else who has the aftermarket aluminum 5.0 radiator in their early bronco had similar issues?

some do it that way.
A metal 'jump' tube (it's OD is the same ID as the rubber) are put in the cut rubber to join the 2 where the rubber is cut away. Two hose clamps finish the job.
Comprende`?

outlet/inlet sides

I'm thinkin ur 'new' radiator has swapped sides (C 'subj. line' above) 4 top hose - frm the orig 1? U may have it 'reversed' frm OEM?

U hafta order the correct radiator 4 ur motor. Otherwise gotta use what's in ur possession now (thru this method we seem 2B discussin)...

Yes I ordered it "swapped" purposely such as the one in this link.

Otherwise if you run the stock radiator you have to use a crossover tube for the lower radiator hose, such as the part in this link.

I have a newer efi engine and I am trying to avoid having to cut and splice the hoses to scab them together and make it work.
