Extended cab package mat

I have been wondering the same thing. I tried the drawer liners that are used either in a kitchen or in a tool box but I couldn't figure out how to make it stay in place. I tried taping it in place but it didn't last long enough. I don't want to glue it as I think it would make a mess and be very difficult to remove in the event one wanted to.

Wanted to bump this as to "tip my hat" to the OP...
Had my truck for 10 years & sorta "knew" that you could do something with the rear bench, but never tried to even fold it down.
Got out the owners manual & pulled & yanked in the indicated directions. I don't think its ever been down. Now the pivots are lubed & I'll look at that mat at HD.
Thanks for enlightening me to something I never utilized.
