What Brad said, looks a little anemic with srw style wheels and hubs in the front.

Does anyone know if I need drop pitman arm? I went threw 2 sets of new steering kits. When I turn it kinda slides and if I drive straight I have play. When I crawl underneath and lift the tires off the ground, I can turn and pay with the steering arms with thus turn the tires about 1/2". What can be wrong?

New steering kits? Like all new tie rods? Did you check ball joints and wheel bearings?

If all else is tight, your play is likely in the steering box.

Yes new tie rods. Ball joints are new maybe 1000 miles on them. Same as gear box. I can crab the tie rods and twist them then when twisting them, they turn the tires and gearbox/pitman arm stays in place. This was don when tires were off the ground.

Check any parts listing (RockAuto, etc) to see if the pitman arm for the 2WD and 4x4 F350s is the same or different. If it's different, I'd say you need that 4x4 pitman, whether it's considered a "drop" arm or not.

Reverse shackle kit

Plan:
Take apart leaf springs that were bought at a scrap yard
Paint leaf spring parts
Paint D60 axle
Paint reverse shackle kit
Reassemble leaf springs
Box in front end
Install reverse shackle kit
Attach leaf springs
Attach axle
Install transmission and transferase
Attach driveshafts
TEST DRIVE!

Progress:
Ordered all parts needed online
Reverse shackle kit
ZF5 rear extension housing
ZF5 seal kit
Went to scrap yard and bought leaf springs
Donor trucks looked like "W"'s but has good bushings
Took apart leaf springs
Painted (primer) leaf springs
Work on removing good bushings from old leafs while paint (primer) dries
Cut seam welds and removed rivets (holding boxed end and radiator mount) holding in boxed parts
Second coat of primer
Removed bumper seam weld from dually
Removed rivets holding radiator mount
Had a buddy seam weld box front end
First coat of black paint
Painted pitman arm and new reverse shackles
Had a buddy trade me my old POS steps for his steps. They go from front tire to back tire. They are also quick release sort of steps if ground clearance is needed.

Black Friday weekend/week:
I ordered
PHP Hydra Chip
MaxTow Gauges
Air Filter
3" Downpipe

Pictures to come[/QUOTE]

?
