hehe nice truck OP keep the mods going. I wish I had the time to do more mods to my truck. When I took the amber lights off I tried to take them off without cracking the light. I watched a couple of youtube videos on how to do it but every time I broke them. It would have been nice to keep them or sell em on ebay but they got round filed.

I'm keeping the stock stuff I change on the 6.7 as well, with same intentions. But I think I like this truck enough that I'll be keeping it for A LONG TIME to come.

Wishing I was not home today sick! Just got a package dropped off and wishing I can tear into it now.
Suppose it will have to wait until another day when I'm feeling better. Probably after my NL Stage 2 Intake arrives! Yeah, nothing better to do on a day home sick than to order some more goodies from No Limit! Awesome to deal with!
While I have been waiting on this to arrive I have however been contemplating on doing this at this time. I have about 34k miles on the truck so still under warranty. Sort of rolling the dice here. I want to for the life of the truck, but don't want to in case I need to go in for warranty. I don't have a standing relationship with any local ford dealers/service dept. (didn't buy this one from a ford dealership) and it's been 12 years since I have bought a ford from a ford dealership tbh. My best angle is my bro-n-law works in the service dept of a ford dealership. Not a diesel mechanic, but maybe a good enough 'in' so I won't have to fight tooth and nail for warranty coverage not directly related to what is about to go on.

The exhaust is DP back straight pipe. I've been told it is quieter than the 6.0s so I'm hoping so. I pull a 8500lb empty camper so I don't want the noise/drone like I had on the straight pipe 6.0. Going to begin with no muffler, than try the stock muffler and if that doesn't get me what I want, I'll try the MBRP quiet tone. I think the Donaldson will quiet it down, but it may be too quiet for my liking. I'll keep it updated with pics for sure.
Get well yourself Dubz.

Enjoying This Thread!
Although the little green monster has reared his head. I am in California so I have no hope of doing the exhaust. I really like the LED conversion you are doing. I am going to get the halo headlights and put LED bulbs in them. That is a great looking truck. My 2016 is stock height. Have you towed yet with the lift kit? I am curious because I have a 23' bumper pull toy hauler. At the least I am going to put on the leveling spacers in front. When I put 30psi in the airbags, it rakes the truck, even with the trailer. Keep us posted on your build and feel better soon.
This is pre-leveling. I will probably go with the rough-country 2" spacers.
5100's.
Bilstien Steering Dampner
Bags.

I haven't pulled the camper with it yet, but I'll more than likely need bags myself. That's next on my list, hoping before spring comes. What bag setup are you running?
I'm also wanting to do LED headlight conversion as well. Just haven't figured out what I'm going to do there yet.
