Side step inserts?

Does anyone have any info about these steps? Were these made by ford or some aftermarket company? Wanting to find out if I should keep them on or fill the holes during restoration?

I am pretty sure NOT made or installed by Ford. Probably aftermarket and installed by a dealership, but I doubt that and more like a short PO (previous owner).

IMO I would remove and fill the hole. Are you planning on also removing the B pillar grab handle... AKA a rust magnet?

Yes the grab handles are coming off and all of the holes from the bed tie-downs are getting filled. Thanks for your reply.

Uh huh...
It's a genuine Ford accessory, but it's not listed for any F100/250 after 1969.

Someone spotted them, probably in a junkyard, removed and installed them on this dentside.
