So is it just the power locks that are effected, not the entire latch mechanism? As in, you can still enter the truck, you just can't lock/unlock with the remote?
Seems to affect some trucks differently than others. I remember last winter some people complaining of not being able to shut their doors, while others had problems with the locks.
When it affected my driver's door, I was able to unlock it with the key. Felt quite stiff though.

That's about what we got last night. In these temps it's not easy for them to melt it off the roads. We took the kids down to the Mall of America today, and there were over a dozen accidents in various stages of cleanup.
I took the Caddy out this morning in about 2 or 3 inches of snow and it was fine no slipping or sliding. Held the road just fine.
Went to clean the driveway off with the snow blower and was having to push it threw the snow. snapped a shear pin. so only half the auger was working. Will have to replace it on Sunday.

I have to admit I was surprised at your wife's comment about it being worse than the Jeep. I haven't driven every AWD thing out there, but I've never driven one I'd characterize as bad in snow. In fact, I'd prefer any one of them to my truck unless it got deep. Having a system that's always engaged without fear of binding in dry corners is awesome.

yes, I agree and so does she now that she got to drive it where she wasn't petrified about ice under the snow. She actually prefers the Caddy now.
Short work week, and I think Christmas shopping is just about taken care of. Did just about everything online, which avoided the stress of the post office and fighting all the lines. Hope everyone has a stress-free last few days, and a great Christmas!
Good afternoon CT, been busy and all over lately...although i still haven't started christmas shopping yet. Just finished my first week as a full time apprentice at eversource. Hope everyone has a good christmas
