Will a Duraspark "blue grommet" from a 302 work on a 351?

Hi all
Will a 302 Duraspark module work with a 351? or are they "displacement specific"????

As a separate note, can a 302 Duraspark wiring harness work on a 351 engine?

I can get a used
302 dizzy, wiring harness, and blue grommet module, but I have a 351 4V.

Only interested in the Module and Harness for my 351, and will toss the dizzy.
Thanks

The blue module is not engine specific, it was introduced in all 1976 FoMoCo vehicles.

Thanks Bill
So I could use the harness and module when I convert from my current HEI one-wire to Duraspark II?

Yes, the v8 harnesses will be very close or the same. You could even use the six cylinder module and harness, but the wires may be the wrong length since the engine is radically different in size and configuration.

Cool! that's 3/4 of the battle, finding a usable harness, (without paying "Painful Wiring)

If I find a Blue grommet module from a Six cylinder, will it work on an eight cylinder engine?

The blue module doesn't discriminate, you can find it in a '76/80 Pinto/Bobcat w/a 2.3L 4 banger, or a 1977/78 Continental Mark V 460, or a gazillion other I-4/I-6/V6/V8 1976/89 applications.
