I just sold my 51 f1 and bought a nice 56 f100.t needs a few things and hood springs was one of them.i priced them on a few sites and some wanted
$40 a pair plus shipping.I found them on ROCK AUTO for $ 13 a pair & $12 shipping.a friend of mine said that he would install them for a 6 pack .so I bought him his 6 pack and now both of us are happy

$13 a pair??!! that is an awesome price. It sounds like Black market price...

Let us know how they work! I am thinking of getting a new pair for my 54.

I misread your post the first time. I thought you got hood hinges for $13 a pair! I went to the Rock Auto site and then saw that you bought just the springs !! But still that is a good price.

I found a pair of repop hinges on eBay for $89 plus $23 shipping. In the Mac's catalog I just got today they want $72.79 for 53-55 hinges, $85.99 for the right 56 hinge and $72.99 for the left hinge, plus whatever they charge for their shipping.
