97 7.3 L California model have a big leak at the pulse damper on the fuel pump above the banjo bolt. Pump is only a few years old and I looked today with a mirror and can see the fuel spitting out from the top edge of the pulse damper. My question is how hard is it to change the damper? I have read threads about taking off the pulse damper and plugging it would like to know if that has caused any problems. I found the pulse damper today on line $60.00 don't mind doing it but it looks tight. Any special tools? Does the turbo have to come off? Any instructions here????

 

Subscribing and I have a spare with the damper too. Don't need it and would like to remove it.
