Will this rear end bolt in my truck?

Guy says its a 2000 f150 4x4 5 lug 8.8 rear end with 3.55's.

I have a 96 f150, axle code 18, 3.05 non limited slip.

Hes asking $300, Im trying to get a little better gearing and limited slip.

Measure it all up and compare. It could be the same axle but different spring perches. or shock mounts.

It may physically bolt in but it does have a different wheel lug spacing. You'll need new rims to fit that rear axle. You would also need to figure out the parking brake setup since the donor has rear disc brakes versus drum on your truck.

I believe the axle itself is wider than the one in your truck.
