1993 Ford F-150 fuel pump relay buzzing 455,000 miles
I really hope someone could help me w/ my older model 1993 Ford pickup.
After switching the key on, a buzzing noise occurs from the fuel pump relay inside the fuse / relay box. Also, the check engine light repeatedly flashes on & off. Fuel pump in front tank is also priming on & off.
Sometimes this doesn't happen at all & I'm able to start the truck w/ no problem. After driving the truck for a few hours, it will die in the middle of the road & the buzzing starts again.
I am now stranded at my house w/ no way to go!
I have put a new fuel pump relay in, new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & button. I have also put a new fuel pump in the front tank, but the truck is still doing the same thing!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! And will send money through paypal if your suggestions fix my problem. Thank You.

Find the eec-iv test port. Short pin A light brown orange wire to ground with key on. If the relay stays on and the pump primes. Then the wiring to the Ecm or the Ecm is bad. You can run them that way. Tie a wire into that connector and run it through a switch to ground want to run pump turn on switch start truck.

First of all thank you very much for taking the time to reply! You are a great asset to this forum! I found the EEC test port & tried and jumper wired the orange / brown wire to the ground & the fuel pump continues to run.
After removing the wiring harness from the ECM & removing the top & bottom bolts holding the ECM in place, I could not pull the ECM out. My question now is, does the ECM pull out into the engine bay or from the inside of the truck ? Thanks

You remove the ECM called a PCM through a gap between the fender and the inter fender that you can hold open with a broom handle after first removing the screws of the inter fender and also removing the front wheel while up on a jack stand.
Note grounding that wire does not mean 100% of the time that the PCM computer is bad. You could also have a bad ground wires for the PCM at the passenger fenders body ground.
