What pitman arm for 97 F250 HD 7.3 PS

I have searched far and wide for a pitman arm to find out my pitman arm was not the problem but it was actually my steering box shaft. didnt notice it before, but ive fixed the issue to find that my trailing arm seems to be very high, and rubs against a lower radiator hose. should it be this high? or is the pitman arm i bought the truck with not the right drop? my pitman is the ford Original oem (has ford stamped on it, looks old) from factory equivilent of the moog k8769. im totally new to diesels especially fords, so dont use acronyms please. thanks!

2WD or 4WD? 2WD is different than 4WD!

Your original may have a Ford ID engineering number cast on it. If so, post what it is.
