Lowering my lifted f250

Hello all.

I am looking to lower my truck by 2-3". Just enough to fit into my garage. I feel like it would also help with axlewrap/driveshaft vibrations.

Anyways, some info on the truck: 2004 f250 4x4 shortbed crewcab with the 6.0 diesel. unknown amount of lift 285/75/16 bfg K02 all terrains on some sort of 12" wide aftermarket rims.

The reason for this post is for advice on lowering the front of the truck. the rear should be pretty easy by just buying smaller blocks and new u-bolts. I'm not sure how much lift is currently on the truck or what is factory/aftermarket.

I'm thinking i can take 4-5 of the smallest springs out of the front and be right about where I want to be, But I dont know if the red piece is a drop bracket for the track bar, if the pitman arm is for a lift or stock, and whether or not any other weird stuff will happen/be affected once I take the springs out. I dont even know if the tires will rub or not once lowered.

Help and advice is always appreciated. and yes I know I need to replace the tie rod ball joint.

That is a drop track bar bracket and a pitman arm for the lift the factory pitman arm is straight. As for the driveshaft vibration the carrier bearing needs to be lowered along with the lift to eliminate the vibration an prevent wear of the bearing. I would suggest that for best bet would be to get new 2in leveling springs a factory track bar bracket and pitman arm and adjustable track bar and 4" blocks for the rear that is a popular setup. The tires are probably going to rub a bit with 12 wide wheels. You could probably take out a couple the springs in the pack in the front pack but you may take away some of the load capacity especially with the already heavy front end but you could try it I'm thinking the bottom 3 or 4 but you would still need the other bracket and pitman arm I mentioned above and adjustable track bar.
