If it's anything like the Sync system in the 2015 Ford Edge Titanium you should be able to turn it up/down with the steering wheel volume controls for the radio/phone.

I asked this in another thread and was told to use steering wheel volume controls while it was talking. Not exactly the best thought out if ask me.

That's how it works on one of my vehicles. Of course I can go into settings but not as easy doing it as its talking.

Not with the radio playing. But the steering wheel controls do.

It'll work with either **** or steering wheel switch, but the voice has to be talking while you press it. Otherwise you're just adjusting the radio.

Does this work for Google Maps through Android Auto also? Can barely hear the nav prompts even though all other types of prompts are plenty loud. Haven't been able to find any setting to adjust the Google Maps prompts though.

Your phone volume should be set to full volume. Check the volume on phone when using maps.

Maxed out all of the volume sliders I could find and it didn't make a difference. The people in the next lane over knew when I got an email though.

Ok, got a chance to go out and test the volume again. Set up a route, but with the phone in Android Auto mode it wouldn't give me volume control on the phone, even while it was giving voice navigation prompts.

Started up the route again and this time tried the steering wheel volume controls. This did work and I was able to increase the volume to usable level. The screen even shows that you're adjusting "Prompt volume". Can't believe I didn't think to try that before.
