Did you contact Cummins Onan? They might have a starting point.

Actually for today's world of electronics, it is a 45-49 year old dinosaur that would be an expensive piece of junk. It wouldn't work with a lot of today's electronics. You would be better off with a Honda, or other brand. Did you want to use it or have it as a trophy? You would also have to have the inner fender for the Onan.

I have a small Honda I was considering mounting under the hood but I very rarely use AC power away from the house.... would be more useful to have an air compressor....

Talk to someone on this forum:

They are really into Onan's and have lots of information. Someone might know of one laying around. Or something similar.

I have a BFA 4000w unit from a late 70's motorhome. Runs awesome and was cheap(Lot cheaper then a new Honda).

The Onan Generator was optional for all trucks. The only thing that came standard equipment on the Contractors Special is what you see in the upper pic in post #5.

My answer to the needs of AC power was to mounting a 2000watt invertor it has run everything, I've used so far. sawsall & drill press, hand grinders etc.

I mounted a 120 ac weather outlet under the hood & one inside the bed.

What I ment to ask was "What is the model number of the generator?" I have a boatload of Onan repair manuals. I wanted to see if I have that one.
