Oem icp or aftermarket

I have a 05 6.0, my icp is leaking and I need to replace it. Do I go oem or aftermarket?

Do not waste your money on aftermarket ICP sensors.

Ok oem it is, can anyone tell me why its nessesary to change the pig tail with the icp if it's leaking?? Coil I use an aftermarket pig tail? The Ford part seems $$$$ for a plug an some wires.

Because the connector is flooded with oil and that allows all the wires to be,shorted together.... like throwing a hairdryer in the tub.

I would not use an aftermarket pigtail if it was mine but better you are at least using an OEM ICP........up to you I guess, if it's a yuuuuge savings then I can see why you might go cheaper on the AM pigtail.
Just be sure the AM pigtail comes with heat shrink for the three splices.

I look at it this way,how much is your time worth? I know mine is worth a whole lot and I HATE doing the job twice ,plus the aggravation of it bringing on another problem.

Make sure it has the little white clip inside that keeps the 3 pins separated.
