Looking for pics of 17's with Bull Bar or AM bumper

Hey guys,

Been searching google, and the forums, looking for pics of 17 SDs equipped with either a bull bar or aftermarket bumper(S). Not finding much. Trying to come up with x-mas gift ideas to give my wife, but want to see how some of these things look in action. If anyone has one, please post a pic. Thanks!

I have been looking at these lately myself also. I am a minimalist when it comes to front bumper/grille guards and prefer a low mounted bumper guard with push bars. Unfortunately I have not been able to find much for the late model Super Duty trucks yet, especially the 2017. My present truck has one made by Waag Industries. Here's a couple of pics of it on my '02...

Two other companies I have found with much more elaborate bumpers and bumper/grille guards are Fab Fours and Carid links below.

2017 Ford Super Duty Bumpers - Fab Fours Quality Bumpers

https://www.carid.com/2017-ford-f-350-off-road-bumpers/

A word of caution also, a couple of days back was a thread started by someone having difficulty mounting his bull bar as it was blocking the adaptive cruise control module which is mounted within the front bumper. Hopefully some guards will be coming out designed specifically for the new model with all it's sensors and cameras.

The interference with adaptive cruise was something else I was wondering. Guess I will look for other accessories for now and see what other people say as more trucks get modded.

That looks BAD ***!! But I'm assuming you don't have a front camera or adaptive cruise module, correct?

I think I read somewhere that they were moving the module for the adaptive cruise to a different spot behind the grill

Really like the look of the bedlined bottom.

I'm finding it's really difficult to mod these trucks. I've searched everywhere and I've yet to find a bumper that won't break the cruise, camera, or both.

Anything, like a light bar, that touches any part of the aluminum body with steel is also a no-no.

I think the safest play is wheels. I think beadlocks would look badass. And if you're going to do that, maybe an onboard compressor? Also a toolbox/aux tank?

Perhaps an OBD2 bluetooth (or better, wifi) remote, a tablet, and a mount?

Or how about a nice, adjustable drop hitch?

You have to consider all this new technology will take time to adapt to accessories. It took months to make the simple stuff that really required little to no modifications like tonneau cover and such.

I wanted the mx4 but dealer was def. so far it's good but I see opening the back with the wire while wearing gloves will be a challenge.

Wondering if my bull bar off of my '13 model will fit, would it just need some new brackets?
