I see the listing is gone. You buy it Zippi? Hope someone didn't swoop in and grab it. Anyone get the photos before they were gone?

At first glance the truck looks really nice. After swapping text back and forth with the seller the truck needs a paint job inside and out, fuel gauge doesn't work, etc. I do believe the truck is machanically sound but for the price he's asking the cash could pile up quick on the needed repairs. Unfortunally the seller didn't seem to want to negoseate on the price. The hunt continues.

Here ya go boys. This is what dreams are made of. 350 small block
setting in the business end of a 1936 pickup. I've been looking for a pickup for so long I'm getting a little stir crazy but this never gets old.

You won't find many fans of that conversion here. It looks nicely done though.

You took the words right out of my mouth, why would anyone mess up a nice truck with a brand X engine?

Yeah.....I know what you guys mean. I would rather have it all Ford but there are more street rods with Chevy engines vs Ford. That seems to be the trend. If I had my choice it would be a 289 or 302. The flatheads are starting to grow on me.

In the fordbarn swapmeet there is one with a link to SF Bay CL. I will try that link here it's a nice 36 . Link wont work. Try the CL search for SF Bay. Edit... Just looked at it and it's awful nice. Not total original interior, a bit of a rod look, but it has a proper engine. They really DO grow on you. I can't explain it but MANY are afflicted in a similar way. Fordbarn has a ton of these sick fellas too! Didn't look at his video yet.

I've seen this one before. Pretty much all original. Thanks for the link.

I did find this one with a 302 a few weeks back but can not get a response from anyone. Could be another old ad.

My wife and I are finally going to look at a 1936 Ford pickup this coming Sunday. It's only 2 1/2 hrs away. The pics look nice and it has a nice price. We'll see.
