My New Truck

1995 F-150 5.0 4x2 with Ford 9-inch, 4.10 gears. Dual exhaust, upgraded speakers. 254k miles on body, 50k on 302 + E4OD.

The front bench seat is slightly ripped and stained, so it has a crappy, tattered cover on it. Hopefully I'll find a good replacement in the future for it, as the camouflage ruins the tone inside.

Any thoughts?

Currently the tailgate doesn't have a ford emblem, so I'm thinking about getting a blacked out one for the center and plasti-dipping the chrome. The front bumper is already bedlinered, the back isn't.

Truck looks great although I'm not a fan of the wheels. Search local junkyards for a seat with a center console, you'll never look back!

Two things do not belong here...

1. Unless someone did a swap that rear axle is a 8.8.

2. A 5L engine truck of this vintage has a 4R70W transmission. Once again perhaps someone did a swap, but not very likely.

Otherwise it's a good looking truck with potential.

Welcome to FTE.

Thank you! I'm not a huge fan of the wheels either, and they're a tiny bit scratched up. They were originally chrome and I guess the previous owner had painted them black to match color scheme. I might just touch them up to makeep them look nicer instead of buying a new set. Doesn't the center console version only line up to the seat mounts for regular cab? Even if it didn't but was easy for Ext. Cab, I'd consider it.

Thanks. I have confirmed that a 9-inch was swapped in by the previous owner. Unsure why, but allows for potential even as parts, as you said. I was under the impression that all the OBS autos past C6-era were E4OD and changed to 4R70W upon 1997 model year. My bad.
Thanks for the welcoming!

Oh, that I have no clue. I assumed the front of the ext. cab was the same as a reg cab.

Could be so. Might need to make a trip to the junkyard and just look around a bit. Pretty important on my list since IMO the tattered camouflage seat cover kills the tones on the interior.

No, the cab floors are different between ex and regular cabs. You need the seats from an extended cab
