Hey guys, new to the forum and looking for some help on a very strange problem! I have 2008 6.4L. Recently I have noticed the fuel gauge will not work. It is so bad that the "pump light" comes on and the computer will even shut the injectors down and it will stall while driving. This can happen with the tank completely full! Now here is the strange part and a solution I have found...If I turn the key to the on position, (without starting), and turn the parking or headlights on and wait for the fuel gauge to go up, then start the truck, it's fine! Basically every time I drive the truck, I have to have my lights on or the gauges think the tank is empty! Any one had anything like this happen to them and what in the heck would cause it?
