07' 6.0 starting issues
Ill start from the beginning...
About 1,500 miles ago I had $20k worth of work done to my tank.
Head studs
Plugged EGR
Mad turbo werks stage 3
190# 100% nozzle injectors
Hurculese FICM
SCT livewire custom tuned
Air dog II fuel kit
4.30 gears front and rear
5 in. Stainless strait pipe with a Y into duels
Detroit locker
Full trans rebuilt with all billit to hold HP
Right after I got the truck back the transmission failed. It was a 1 in a million problem. The main ground on the chassis lost connection and it started grounding inside of the transmission. Had to spend another 7 grand because it wasn't the mechanics fault.
Over the last week I've noticed that when I put the truck in park and switch it off it'll bump forward so slightly you can barely notice it. Well I shut it off at a drive-thru the other night and it wouldn't crank back up. I assumed that it was the starter so i put a new one on. Still nothing so I put the old one back on. After searching all over the net I saw someone with similar problems and someone told him to look behind the vacuum pump and there is a yellow and black wire with a quick connect. He said to unhook the wire and touch it to the positive terminal and see if it tries to crank. Well I did all of this with my key switched on and BAM my truck cranks and runs! So all day if I had to drive somewhere I had to turn my key and stick this wire to my battery. On the post I read it didn't work for the guy so they didn't explain anymore of it..
Can anyone tell me what is going on and how I can fix it?? Thanks in advanced and sorry for the long post.
