Thumbs up Setting clock

Jump in my 12 f150 to run over to my buddies to fly rc planes the other day and seen I hadn't changed clock for daylight savings. As usual cruising 70 mph I start messing with it, being a normal alpha male I could surely figure it out without instruction. NOT... so I dive into glove box and flip right to set clock instructions, start doing exactly what it says. Push and hold clock button till hr starts blinking and use arrow buttons to adjust. After trying several times I could not get anything to happen, push and hold and nothing would happen but clock would go blank and after several seconds would come back on. So got to buddies and figured it was screwed up and would have to live with it, it would be right half of the year. Then on way home I googled it on iPhone , I'm not sure what forum it was but told me to shut off sterio, push clock button and then enter time with preset numbers. WOW, it worked!!!! So what's the deal with owners manual ?? Thank god for the forums....

There are a couple of different audio systems available. I found both instructions in the e-copy I have. Here is the one you described:

That's interesting. I had no problems setting mine this past weekend. First time I'd had to reset the clock on this truck, too. Just bought it in April.
Now if I could only get everything else figured out, like the folders. What are those for? I really think I have to face the facts that my truck is smarter than I am!

My manual is not correct for my 11 xlt. I just push clock button and the numbers to the correct time.
