I say "give this man a cigar!" That makes perfect sense. We did swap the valve springs at the thrash.

True, and it hasn't run since before that. Makes sense.

keep up the good work T-mass. I'd like to see a 369 in there as well but like you said, sometimes simplicity is better

No they were not blurry! I still have them and when I'm in the old folks home I'll be able to prove to all the inmates that I was at a thrashing with a bunch of great guys!

Set up and the homemade tool to set the updated axle seals in. It's not the perfect tool but better than ruining them with a hammer at 50$ per seal. I will be using my new lathe to build a proper pushing tool.

Looking good my friend! Can't wait to meet up this weekend! You need me to show you how to use that lathe? 🤣🤣 just kidding of course.

I guess the title of this thread needs some explaining, by slow and steady, I guess I meant slow snails crawl. Haha. As I remember my friend Glenn saying, "One chip at Mt.Rushmore at a time."

White just got 2 fresh tires for the trip down, and has been running well! The 25 mile drive to work has been helping keep her limber. We are up to 415k now, and 8 years of ownership. Crazy its been that long. Guess I need to poke my head in here more often.

The plan is to have this axle installed by fall, im not anticipating any problems. Ive got my own place now to work on it, so after this, all that will be left is getting down to it.
