Dies out of random, like out of fuel
I have to say thank you guys for getting my electrical diagrams and now and I am a new stand still-
Truck dies out of random. Random starts. She will kick over and run for a second, then die no matter what throttle setting. Then out of no where, she will run perfect.
Driving down the road, she will die 100% like out of fuel. Especially in a turn.
Ignition system- MSD, new distributor, plugs at .44
Fuel- Fresh gas, new fuel pump (mech), no electrical pump, fresh rebuild on single barrel carb.

Next time it dies, disconnect one of the sparkplug wires and connect it to a spare sparkplug which will be grounded to the engine block. Be very careful when grounding the plug and use insulated gloves or insulated pliers [the MSD box packs a whallop of energy!!!]. Have someone try to start the engine [watch your hands/fingers, etc.] and look for a strong blue spark.
