That's an odd one. I would start by replacing the ignition switch, an easy installation and not very expensive. If not the switch I might move to the ignition module that's mounted to the steering column as the next likely culprit. Hope you get it solved.
What exactly IS it doing. Does it drive normally but just wont shut off. Or is it trying to crank all the time or what????? When the key is off can you drive it normally????
I'm wondering when you're talking about the ignition switch are you talking about the module down lower on the steering column, which it seems odd to me that it's called the "ignition switch", or the key cylinder?
I have a bit of different problem - so I started a different thread.
Hi it is a little lower on the steering column as you said, yes it is odd it is called the ignition switch-same thing I thought. What is odd is after I replaced my ignition switch it fixed it for a day then I wouldn't shut off a few times the day after,so I had to disconnect the battery cable because everything stayed on-when I connected it the third time somehow it has fixed itself-been a couple weeks with no problems...crazy
