Well other than the engine knock, i didnt have any trouble whatsoever with the 11 F150. The 5.0 had a rough first couple of years with the cylinder distortion, but cleared up after 2012 with far fewer cases being reported. Ive been a long time Ford buyer and always will be. I absolutely love my 16 F150 and if i happen to have an issue with this one then i will deal with it. Otherwise i will just happily motor on!

How did you get 27MPG, I would guess driving 45mph and never stopping? My 2016 Supercrew I can see north of 20 at 55MPH but start averaging in stops and starts it drops. Still only about 3K miles so maybe it improves.

I hate when dealers say something like that is normal, next time ask them to start another truck and if it does not knock well then I guess that truck has a problem they need to fix.

I have a '16 Platinum, a little less than a year old with 15,700 miles, I average about 19 MPG, mixed driving and I don't cut her any slack on the highway!
I also have the 5.5' bed, if I need to carry a load longer than the bed is designed, I just snag a trailer .....

No issues at all with the truck so far, extremely comfortable, decent mileage, power is good enough...

It's possible on a very flat surface going 50 mph. Sometimes I'm in a flat area and it's easy to achieve that.

For what I do with my truck, the 5.5 bed is plenty adequate. (I dont have a ATV or 4 wheeler anyway)... I would buy another 5.5 bed.
