Truck Shows

My Dad had a 53 Mercury (not ford...only made in Canada). He sold it this year. I am looking at taking him on a trip so he can drown his sorrows and would love to get to a truck show at some point this summer 2017. What would the best show to go to so we could see a lot of trucks from this period. We have been to the f100 super nationals but the dates don't work this year.
Thanks

Hi, welcome. If I could make a suggestion to ad your location, folks would be better able to help with your question. To do that just click on "user CP" button on the blue ribbon at the top of the page and ad your location. That said, I can understand how your Dad must feel selling His truck, I would hate to loose mine. Anyway there are plenty of folks on here that attend the shows, so I'm sure someone will chime in once they know what part of the country you are interested in. Best of luck.

I see you are in Nova Scotia. Check with States you might be visiting for car and truck shows.
Such as:
Auto Shows of North America
https://www.hemmings.com/calendar/
Might be a little early for 2017 postings from what I could find.

It is decieded that Truckstock 2017 will be in Northern Kentucky if we can get conformation from a small Ky. State Park ( General Butler State Park ) which is about 45 miles from Louisville,Ky , 65 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio. Hopefully in the next few weeks we should know some details and some prices on motel, cabin rental and camper/motor home spots. Hang in there Linda and I are working on it, thank you for your support, ha ha

If SoCal isn't too far you could take in the F100 Western Nationals on June 17th and the LA Roadster show on Father's Day the 18th. LOTS of places to see and things to do in the LA/San Diego area. Pickups Limited usually schedules a tour of the Edelbrock facility on the Friday before the Western Nationals.
