my project Bronco

started in 2011 with a set of 5.5" front coils from Wild Horses Nitemare that I bought from a scratch and dent sale. I started my build of a daily driver/very off road capable rig. Many hours have gone into this and have a way to go buy will share some of the milestones as I go through my PC.
The basics:
351 EFI roller motor
4R70W O/D transmission
Dana 20
Detroit 31 spline Moser axles in a large bearing 9" W/4.56'S
ARB air locker front Dana 44 with chromoly shafts w/4.56's
4 wheel disc brakes with hydroboost
Kentrol fiberglass tub
Protofab roll cage
5.5" long arm Wild Horses front and 5.5 Deaver springs from James Duff

will post up more as I go, hope you enjoy the progress!

I was asking about the year of the Bronco, not the windshield. They removed the fold down windshield latch in '69.

yes, the original windshield frame had the latch...have a newer one I bought in PA a couple years ago that was mint. .....just picked up a perfect '66 windshield frame as a spare, still has the vacuum wipers and the silver sunvisors too!

Ahh, a latch.
Still fold down, nice!

Last yr in the steel - 4 da removable window frames (just drilled out the spot welds on mine) and the (my opinion only) smooth grill (turn sig.s).

What else do U notice?

Nice Project. I've been thing the same thing with a 302 fuelie, except I got a bug in my brain about using a ranger IFS. Wondering if anybody has done that.
