What fluid in my 1981 F100 4.9 manual transmission?

Realistically, it's been so long (with potentially many previous owners) it could be anything... 80w, 80w90, ATF, etc... Here's another thread discussing the similar topic:

Identify your transmission, find the fill port, dip your finger inside, inspect the oil on your finger. ATF will be red, gear oil will be grey/black. (don't do this with a hot transmission)
