I just installed a new ts6 chip on my 1997 Ford F-250hd 7.3. Also I have just installed a banks intercooler and a brand new turbo on my truck. The truck has 397000 miles but motor is new to it from a 1995 with roughly 135000 will this tuner cause me any problems?!
No, only your right foot will cause you problems. Is the truck running good? Sometimes when guys are cleaning the contact points on the PCM they over do it and this causes running problems.
I have had my chip in my basically bonestock truck for 2 years now, on stock injectors you really do not have much to worry about. Just nice to bring a bit of pep back to these old trucks!

When I first installed mine I thought I had done something wrong or the chip was defective because I developed a slight miss with any amount of acceleration in non-stock settings. After a bunch of farting around taking it in and out a few times I discovered that it simply highlighted a weak injector or two. Replaced them and couldn't be happier. Some google foo told me that it's not that uncommon.
