Good morning guys, continuing this question from the October thread. My truck was chipped/tuned before I got it, but it didn't come with the programmer. I know the previous owner installed a magnaflow exhaust and I believe it is turbo back, but I have to check the size, he also deleted the EGR and had APR head studs installed. I have a scangauge II hooked up to monitor temps. I just looked and there is no coolant filter, so that might be something I try to get done in the next two weeks while its "warm". I also have the blue spring kit at my house waiting to install it, but I didn't want to pull it apart and find that the previous owner already did it.

Any other modifications that you guys would suggest?

As far as tuner there isn't one installed now, but when I talked to the previous owner he said he had it chipped. And I've been having Boyer do the multi-point/oil changes so I should have OE filters. I will move this over there and see if there's anyone around the cities that would want to meet up. How far west are you? I may be in Clinton/Graceville area this weekend.
Well then you will be going right by me. I live just outside of Morris. Depending on when you are going through we could easily meet up.

Depending on what the coolant is like it might be worth while to do a coolant flush and change the coolant. I would also highly suggest running 5-40 synthetic oil in it if you aren't already.

It sure is nice out. Not too often I get work with the door open in the shop in November.

I'll keep you posted if I make it out that way, and be sure to get in touch if I do.

As for coolant flush, I've had it for almost 3 years now and haven't done one so it wouldn't be a bad idea. Any suggestions on coolant to go with? Also for the filter, is sinister the way to go? or is the XPD one fine too? And I am running 5-40 synthetic.
