flare side fiberglass toneau?

My friend has been looking for one for a while.

Neither of us can seem to find a vendor online.

Lately, the both of us have seen a guy driving around our town that has one. He got to talk to him but the guy didn't know the brand (came on the truck when he bought it new, with no tags, badges, or id on it).

I have another hard toneau from a long bed f-150 that I figured we could section out and make it work.....

Does anyone out there know the best answer?
Where to look?
Impossible to cut a larger one down to size?

Thanks for any help!

Have you tried the Undercover brand? Depending on your year, etc...
Try their website: UnderCover-Americas #1 Selling Hard Covers

I've had mine for ten years. Good product.

I sent him the info.

I finally caught a picture of the other truck that I have been seeing: He was seeing a different truck and a different cover. He could tell from my picture that it was an A.R.E. He got a quote, but for new, it is over $1,000......

Hoping to find a used one.

Kenny, I bought my 2004 Ranger Flareside used (about 3 months old) and the P.O. had a hard tonneau installed. The receipt in the glove box indicated the tonneau price was $895... in 2005. Again, it was a no-name cover, and came from a Ziebart dealer who did a "paint protection" and window tint along with the tonneau.
I've seen ARE covers for the Flareside/Splash... bring money, though.

Mine came with a "Jason" fiberglass tonneau. Well, I bought it used a few weeks ago, 2003.
